Happy International Women’s Day

On the occasion of the International Women’s day, and the unusual context we are living, we commitment to the #pactomundial and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, whose number five goal seeks to ensure gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

In the words of the secretary-general of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, “the Covid-19 pandemic hits women particularly hard economically and socially: they lose their jobs, mainly in the informal sector where it happens faster; they then take charge of their family; violence against them increases as a consequence of the lockdown.

For all these reasons, gender equality and women’s rights are vital to overcome this pandemic together.”
